Vintage Cinema Rewind

They mostly come at night. Mostly. Sigourney Weaver Month approaches it's dramatic conclusion on this week's Vintage Cinema Rewind! The marines have been butchered. The heroes are holed up. The reactor is about to blow. While they wait for Bishop to return, Blake and Michael hide under the bed and discuss the film's aesthetics, relentless tension, and relentlessly tense production process. As well, does Blake have a hidden agenda he's keeping from the others? You'll have to find out on this week's episode!

We're on an express elevator to Hell, going down! That's right, Sigourney Weaver Month continues on Vintage Cinema Rewind. And this week, they're covering James Cameron's classic: Aliens! After being roused from cryosleep for 57 years, Blake and Michael are on the hook for damaging company property. But when a human colony goes dark on LV-426, they're offered a chance to confront some old traumas. Can they locate the missing colonists? Or should they stop their grinnin' and drop their linen?

Things have certainly looked better on Vintage Cinema Rewind. With a renegade life form on the loose, tempers are hot (or at least, as hot as things can get in deep space). So Blake and Michael split the team off into groups to hunt down the xenomorph. As they prowl the creaking ship, they discuss everything from Sigourney Weaver's filmography to the storied history of the Alien franchise. Can they hunt down the creature in time? So while they get ready to slip into General Woundwort's clutches, they take the time to discuss the characters, setting, and luxurious wordbuilding. Such is Vintage Cinema Rewind's monument, and perhaps it would not have displeased them.
