The Seventh Seal (1957) Part 1 Primer

We must make an idol of our fear, and call it God. That's right, Vintage Cinema Rewind is back with Ingmar Bergman's 1957 masterpiece: The Seventh Seal! Blake and Michael have returned from the Crusades to their Black Plague-ravaged homeland, and they are not having it. But after a long night of drinking worthy of a Todd Phillips movie, Michael encounters Death himself and challenges him to a game of chess. Can he outwit the Grim Reaper long enough to find significance in his miserable, meaningless life? Or is Death himself hiding no answers?
